"Bladepaw, you shall be known as Bladewater. Starclan honors your loyalty and we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan." he said, exhaling. I did it. And I didn't mess up. he thought in relief.
"Turnwind! Turnwind! Bladewater! Bladewater!" the cats cheered, and when it died down Searingstar spoke again.

Ashpaw sighed. The camp looked almost deserted.

Searingstar was dreaming, dreaming of Frostriver, when a paw shook him and woke him up. "What?" he said irritably, not opening his eyes yet.
It was a good dream.
"I just thought i'd bring you this." a voice said, and he looked up to see none other then Frostriver standing over him. He brightened up, regretting the tone he used. She dropped a mouse at his paws.
"That's what friends are for." she said.
Searingstar sighed.
"Yeah... friends..." he mumbled softly, hoping she hadn't heard.

Ravensoar rolled his eyes, if Searingstar wasn't going to tell Frostriver he was. He padded over to her "Can I talk to you, also, can you Lead, the Moonhigh border patrol, but it won't leave for a while

Frostriver padded into Searingstar's den. Searingstar smiled.
"Hi." he said.
"Searingstar, do you have a problem with us being 'just friends'?" she asked him. Searingstar looked at her.
"Do you?" he asked.
"Yes." she said. "I love you, Searingstar." she said. His eyes widened in shock.
"I do, too." he said. Frostriver padded up to him and licked his ear. "I know."
