"It is time! We will go, now!" Frozenstar exclaimed, and she stalked out of camp with all the other cats of BrokenClan following. They soon crossed the border, heading towards the heart of BriarClan territory. Then they crouched on the sides of it, ready to spring.....

Searingflame finally came back into camp, but he felt like he was being followed. By who? He knew, he smelled it. It was BrokenClan. "BROKENCLAN ARE-" he began to warn the clan but was cut off as a huge mass of cats leaped into the camp, their eyes gleaming with the wild light of battle.
The other cats of BriarClan came out of their dens who weren't already in the clearing, and the whole ground became a mass of screeching knots of fur. Searingflame scanned the ground, and with a pang he saw Frostriver pinning down Duskgaze.
I... can't fight her... he thought, but leaped into the fray.

Thistlepaw yelped fighting an apprnetice, she managed to pin him down "Let me out!" he squeaked.

Darkbreeze gulped, under strict order from Willowsun, she had said
Attack, kill if necasery, BriarClan warriors,
The only way he could not attack his clanmates was to fight it.
He leapt onto Spiritedpaw, he realized with a pang that this was his kin. Luckicly, Spiritedpaw was skilled. He twisted, biting Darkbreeze's paw, he ran, finding an apponent his size "Good job Spiritedpaw," he whispered, he leapt onto another briarclan cat,

Brass heard screeching and ran towards the Briarclan camp, and as soon as he realized what was going on he jumped onto Breezeflame's back, digging his claws in.

Swiftstar growled as Frozenstar pinned her down, but she sunk her teeth into Frozenstar's paw.

Darkbreeze soon found himself pinning down Ravensoar. Ravensoar growled. They fought, Darkbreeze wondered if Ravensoar was gettng tired... he wasn't

Emberpaw was sent flying but caught onto a low branch with her paws and sprung off it, landing on Darkbreeze digging her claws in his back.

Darkbreeze was about go on his back, smothering her but he bagan to fight it. He took her by the scruff and set her down "Get. Out. Of. Here. Now," he said through clenched teeth, "Can't. Fight much. Longer, Don't. Want. To. Hurt. Clanmates!"

Duskgaze bit Raggednight fiercely and the Brokenclan cat went off and leaped on Nimbleheart. Duskgaze saw Dustymist and ran over to her.

Murkpaw tried to leap into the fight reluctantly, but it felt like stone chains were tying her to the ground.

Ashpaw flipped her over and landed a hard blow on Spirtedpaw's muzzle.

Searingflame looked to see some cat barreling him over, and he dug his claws into it's pelt, then stopped dead. It was Frostriver.

Dustymist looked at her daughter "Duskgaze... so proud... you... great warriors, I knew you'd be," she coughed blood spattering the ground

"MOM!" Ravensoar yowled rushing over to his mother "Is she still alive?" he asked Duskgaze urgently

"Yes." she said, getting some cobwebs after a few heartbeats and pressing them on Dustymist's wounds.
"Your going to be okay." Duskgaze told her mother.

Breezeflame walked up to Murkpaw.
"Why aren't you fighting!?" he snarled. Murkpaw flinched.
"I c-can't." she mumbled.
"Then your weak!" he said, slashing her face with his claws.

Frostriver stopped dead, doubling over in pain.
Searingflame stared at her in dismay, wondering if he should come any closer.

Ravensoar flicked his ears in Murkpaw and Breezeflame's Direction then at his mother, "I'm sorry, I have to protect her," he whispered "I love you," then he ran to Breezeflame "Stay away from my daughter!" he growled rammng into him

Dustymist smiled and gulped "Duskgaze, too late... I love you." she turned to Darkbreeze "You... are strong, stronger than her... work... fight... I belive... in you" she coughed. She smiled at her kits then her eyes glazed over completly "Good-bye," she whispered. Her flanks rose one more then stopped

Swiftstar rammed into Frozenstar out of her den, bring her claws down over and over to Frozenstar's exposed belly.

Swiftstar matched blow after blow with Frozenstar, thinking about her kits.
Willowsun and Breezeflame and Frostriver..... why did they have to turn evil? she thought, hoping out of Frozenstar's path as she tried to leap on her.
And Darkbreeze.. and Blossompatch... she thought, wincing as Frozenstar delivered a blow to her muzzle.
Swiftstar looked around and realized she was trapped in her den again.

Nimbleheart let out a frustrated hiss. He flattened his ears to lessen the chance of them being shredded and he came onto Raggednight's left and bit into his back.

Blossompatch grinned as the mind control lifted. She smiled, and leaped into the air, and landed on a BrokenClan cat.

Lilyfrost came out of her den to see one body. She pelted out of the den and stopped abruptly beside Dustymist. She could smell the scent of death and she stroked her tail down Dustymist's cooling pelt.
"May StarClan light your path. Good luck." Lilyfrost whispered before walking away.

Raggednight prepared to leap again, her eyes narrowed in concentration.

Ashpaw's eyes fluttered open.
"I'm still alive?" she said in astonishment.

Frostriver flexed her claws. She was battle-ready again. She leaped Breezeflame, carrying him off Ravensoar and she raised her paw to deal the death blow.

Darkbreeze blinked a few times getting to his paws "Whats going on?" he asked "The mind control is gone right?"

Ravensoar nodded "Thank-you Frostriver," he rushed over to his mother's side "I love you, Say hi to dad for me," he half smiled efore going into the nursery "Floe? Murkpaw? Charcoalkit?"

Nimbleheart's eyes quickly skimmed throughout the faces of cats.His eyes flickered back to Raggednight.
