Kits if a Leader Part 5- Frostpaw/Frozenheart

    Frostpaw held back a snarl as she watched as the furious Stormwater ran back to camp. Darkpaw ripped up the grass with his claws.
    "What's up with him? Swiftstar told me he wanted to kill Frozenheart when they found out she killed Brownspots!" she wondered, and Darkpaw just shrugged. How could Stormwater defend that piece of fox-dung like that? Frostpaw growled in frustration. But then an idea came to her mind. Maybe she could see what exactly BrokenClan is going to do with Frozenheart. At least that would give her some satisfaction that she did the right thing by letting the BrokenClan cats take her away.
 "Maybe we should spy on them." she said, grinning. "To see exactly what kind of torture their putting her though." she laughed. Darkpaw smiled back at her. "Perfect" he purred, his eyes glinting in the promise of an adventure. Yes!
   Frostpaw nodded. "Right now?" she asked, her forepaws kneading the grass in impatience. Darkpaw nodded back. "Okay, let's go." she said, smirking and started stalking towards the BrokenClan border. Finally a real adventure for once, and a good one, too! she thought. Suddenly Darkpaw halted, and she turned around to see why. He was staring at some mud.
   "We should roll in that to cover our scent" Darkpaw suggested.  "Ok" Frostpaw said, and they both rolled around in the puddle of mud till they looked unrecognizable. Frostpaw wrinkled her nose.
   Darkpaw laughed. "We smell awful." he observed. Frostpaw rolled her eyes, suddenly anxious to move on. 
"Cmon let's go" Frostpaw said, and kept on walking, with Darkpaw following. She soon spotted the Brokenclan camp, and then she could smell it. It smelled like crowfood, and almost knocked her off her paws right then and there. She heard Darkpaw whisper "Yuck." yeah, that was an understatement. She slowly padded up to the barrier of thorns and saw a small hole. Yeah they really do a good job of having a strong barrier, huh. 
         She peered through it, seeing the camp clearly for the first time. Most of the cats were in their dens, and pairs of eyes gleamed from them. Frostpaw almost shivered as it felt like it they were all staring at her. 
  Then she saw cats out in the clearing, on a few of them, some with their eyes darting anxiously around. But then Frostpaw saw it. She saw her. Frostpaw held back another snarl. They weren't punishing her! It was like she was a member again, and was chatting with some of the other cats. What a disappointment. She thought bitterly. She deserves to be killed, that's what. Not this. 
     She nodded, telling Darkpaw that she found Frozenheart. "What are they doing to her?" Darkpaw whispered. 
    "Nothing.... nothing at all she's just sitting there." Frostpaw said rigidly. "But... I thought.." Darkpaw trailed off. "Once evil, always evil like a said." she hissed quietly. Then she realized something. Why hadn't she thought about before?
   "She's probably telling them all our secrets!" she hissed, her eyes wide. She could tell Darkpaw was scared, like her in some ways. "We got to stop her!" Darkpaw meowed determinedly. Frostpaw looked through the hole again, seeing Flameblaze disappear through the entrance. At that second, a plan was already forming in her head. "I think Flameblaze is out of camp." she told Darkpaw, and her face lit up as her fur started turning dark ginger.  Darkpaw smiled at Frostpaw. "I'll be a rouge you found out of camp, just call me Dark."
   ''Ok" she said, and after she completely looked like Flameblaze, and walked into camp with Darkpaw trailing behind. As soon as they entered, Flickstar walked up to them, his eyes narrowing. "Who is this?" he asked scathingly. 
  "A rouge, Flickstar, I found him on our territory she said in new, lower voice. Flickstar's gaze passed onto Darkpaw. 
    "What's your name, rouge, and why are you on our territory?" He growled at Darkpaw.  Darkpaw growled back. "My names Dark, and I was on your territory on accident, just chasing a mouse, when your friend over here caught me" he said, flicking his tail at Frostpaw.
  "Ah, a mouse." Flickstar said, rolling his eyes. "You can go." he growled to Frostpaw, dismissing her. "I'll talk to this 'Dark' trespasser. And Frostpaw glanced at Darkpaw for a second, her look saying 'I got a plan.'
  This is going to be perfect. She thought, and walked over to sit next to Frozenheart.

    Frozenheart watched Flameblaze come in.  Being Greystar's only kit, they always expected most out off her, but what now? After they took her away to Brokenclan's camp, she was treated as a regular member. 
     Which is worse than being held prisoner in Briarclan she thought, but then shook it away as she spotted a rouge come in after the deputy. His fur was plastered with mud but his eyes gave off nothing. Frozenheart rolled her own eyes, as Flickstar came up to them, and started talking. After a few growls that she couldn't decipher, she heard Flickstar say. "I'll handle this, 'Dark' trusspasser" then Flameblaze came over to sit by her. Oddly, there was an odd grin on his face, though somehow familiar. But not like the old Flamepaw was. She thought. 
         "Can you do me a big favor?" he asked, and Frozenheart narrowed her eyes.
"That depends on what the favor is." she shot back. Again Flameblaze grinned oddly, ignoring her tone and made a face that looked utterly calm.
    "Oh, one that you'd quite enjoy. And you'd probably gain something out of it." he added. It immediatley sparked her interest. She pricked her ears to listen and Flameblaze leaned in and whispered two words.
      "Kill Flickstar.."

    Frostpaw smiled. Now Frozenheart would be killed by Flickstar, which is what she deserved. Frostpaw saw her nod slightly, then leap right onto Flickstar's back, him yowling in surprise and the both of them wrestling on the ground. Darkpaw was staring at Frostpaw, taking a step back. Frostpaw was confused for a heart-beat. What was wrong? Shrugging, she edged closer to Darkpaw to explain.
  "Now she won't even get a chance." she snickered to him. Flickstar's and Frozenheart's yowls brought out cats from their dens, their eyes sparking in interest. Flickstar had Frozenheart pinned down, and Frostpaw willed for him to just kill her already
  "How is that gonna get us out of here?" he growled "Your so caught up in trying to get Frozenheart killed, your going to kill us!" he added. Frostpaw looked confused again.
 "How? They think I'm the deputy, and your a rouge and no one wil even pay attention to you or even to me because of this fight. Thus covering up our problem and our spying." she whispered back. She was amused that the fact she was bigger than Darkpaw now, and almost laughed but didn't because it would be out of place in the serious situation that was happening.
    Suddenly, Frozenheart dug her claws into Flickstar's neck, all the way down to his  tail. Blood stained the clearing, and Flickstar laid still, waking up again and he kept doing that, over and over. Frostpaw flinched. He deserved to die too, anyway. I bet he's killed many cats who DIDN'T deserve it.
  "She killed him!" Darkpaw whispered. "What do we do now?"
Frostpaw's jaw hun open as Flickstar lay unmoving on the ground. He lost his remaining lives. Frozenheart was still alive.
       "She's still alive." she muttered. Frozenheart looked around, a challenge in her eyes. "Who will be the leader now?" one cat asked. "It must be Flameblaze, he's the deputy." another cat answered. Some cats cast glances Frostpaw's way. "But it was Frozenheart who killed him. It's her right to take her place." Lizardclaw muttered. Frostpaw glared at him, him probably mistaking it as her wanting be be leader. But really it was the fact that, Frozenheart might be the new leader. Frostpaw's plan had totally backfired for the first time.
  "I told you!" Darkpaw hissed, he looked rigid, maybe anxious to go back home. 
  "Should we get out of here?" Frostpaw said back. Everyone was still distracted, so they could get out without a problem. And Frostpaw was worried when the real Flameblaze would come back
  "Duh." Darkpaw said, and the both bolted out the camp, Frostpaw switching back to her regular form.

    "Well?" Frozenheart glared at the cats who were looking at her with Shocked eyes as she stood beside Flickstar's bloody body.
  "Does any cat dare deny me being leader?" She snarled at them, and no one said a word. "Then do you accept?" She asked in a slightly softer tone. The cats nodded, whether out of fear or admiration she did not know.
   "From this moment forward." she began. "We will no longer be a band of kittypet warriors who are beaten by the cowardly fools known as Briarclan. We shall be warriors! With me leading you, we will be the most feared clan in the forest! We will kill anyone that stands in our path." she said.
  "But first, we must gain that power and reputation. We will work twice as hard as that fool Flickstar, or even my father ever had. We must gain numbers! Find cats who want to show Briarclan who's the more pathetic ones now. I will be going to the dark tree tomorrow to receive my nine lives and my name as a leader!" She finished.
