Very sad news

      "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the thickbranch for a clan meeting!" Swiftstar announced, her clan-mated slipping out of the shadows silently, with thier eyes gleaming with wearyness.
   Her own eyes gleamed with pain. "Cats of Briarclan." she started out. "Brownspots has passed on." she said, and the clan erupted in murmers of shock. The sounds spread like a ripples in the water among the cats. She sighed, feeling the same. But she dreaded what she had to say next, that would devestate the whole clan. Her legs almost trembled. How would they react? What if they got too mad, and did something that her nor Stormwater could controll? She remebered Stormwater's readyness to spring the other day, to get back at Frozenheart. She didn't think he would be much help in controlling the angry clan cats from tearing her apart. Swiftstar couldn't let that happen. If she let them kill her, then they wouldn't be better than she was. Or maybe, like her, it would only add onto thier grief. It was them who drove her away in the first place, from their lack of trust in her. She felt similar feeling from when she found out Hawkeyes killed Liontooth. Like it was all her fault.... she shook it away.
   "Lilyfrost will be the sole medicine cat now." Swiftstar said, watching as the now slender she-cat stepped forward and dipped her head, grief for her mentor shone clearly from her eyes. The clan cheered softly, all of them excepting Lilyfrost had kits. Swiftstar was the traitor more, for having kits with a cat from another clan. She did that, and way more. Cowardly running away from the clan, watching Hawkeyes and Frozenheart slipp away from her so easily.. for a second she thought she couldn't go on living, Swiftstar shook this away as fell. The clan needs me.... Right?
     "Frozenheart  has killed Brownspots." And she didn't want to wait for thier reaction, she leaped off the thickbranch and dissapeared into her own den.
