Old leader and helping Lakeclan

~*the night before...*~

The cats stalked back to the Gathering, some still in shock, with thier ears flat and thier tails low. Swiftstar lead them back to the camp.

Briarberry was looking at her mother.

"So that's it, then? Ravenstar dies, and you just Take back over Briarclan?" Briarberry challenged. Swiftstar, whipped around, and Briarberry expected her eyes to be flilled with anger. Instead she was looking at her paws, it almost looked like she was dissapionted. Some of the cats were crawling sleepily out of thier dens, and the Old leader looked around.

"I don't know, maybe I should ask Starclan. What do you think?" she asked Briarberry, but before her daughter could answer, shoucked yowls came out of the wakend cats.

Featherleaf looked up at Swiftstar, who just leaped into he Thinkbranch with Briarberry right behind her.

"Swiftstar? Weren't you dead?" Featherleaf asked questionaly.

"Yes, I was." Swiftstar replied, and she began explaining to the cats what happened at the gathering, how Ravenstar died, how she found Faytekit, and why she left in the first place. Some of the cats that went to the gatehring were even shocked.

They didn't know, either. Swiftstar thought.

"I'll travel to the moonstream in a few days, and as starclan then" she announced. the other cats didn't object. She was thier leader, and it would be the same.

Swiftstar sighed, and caught up with her clan.

~*the next day*~

I need to find a new mentor for Willowpaw.... she thought, thinking of her daughter, just appreticed last night before the gathering.

She was sitting around camp, watching her clan go thoughthe day, and some of then cast Swift uncertain glances in her direction.

They don't trust me... Swiftstar thought in dismay. he pricked her ears and heard a noise, and a cat burst throgh the entrance of camp. She caught his sent. Lakeclan.

"What are you doing here, warrior of Lakeclan?" she addressed the Grey warrior. The grey cat dipped his head, taking a step forward.

"It's Coal" Coal said. "Dreamstar needs help! Blackclan is attacking, and hey are out numbered!" Coal panted, and as soon as Coal finished the sentance Swiftstar jumped up on the ThickBranch."

"Let all cats old enough- oh just come here!" she said to the cats, in a hurry. The cats rushed out, there eyes wild.

"Lakeclan is being attacked! We have to help them! Warriors and apretices, whichever of you is able will come! Stormwater pick some cats to guard the camp!" She said, and Addressed her deputy, ad he nodded and Rushed off. Some of the cats gathered around her, and they rushed off towards Lakeclan.
