Kits Of A Leader Part 3- Frostpaw

(I might have to play some of the other people's cats for a second on this one...)

Frostpaw curled up in the apprentices den, her chest still heavy with the weight of the prophecy. It hurt to much, and she never felt good it ever sence she recieved it.

It's not wishing peace... it's signaling a dreadful....... dreadful what? She wanted to know. It was not Starclan's prophecy, and she knew it in her heart.

But will starclan help us overcome it? She still thought to herself, getting more drowsy.
I need to find out what it means.... then Frostpaw Drifted off the sleep, closing her eyes.

Frostpaw snapped open her eyes, feeling a chill. Automatically she stood up her eyes wide from shock.

It's Greenleaf! It shouldn't be this cold..... the white she-cat fluffed her fur up against the wind, gazing up at the unfamiliar trees that looked lifeless and had no leaves. The light that came from no where barely like the pale exposed bark, the barren ground. And all over the place just felt dreadfully wrong.

Where am I? she asked herself, shivering. The weight in her chest seemed to realease here, and she felt as if it were out in the open, connected to this place.

The prophecy must be worse then I thought..... she shivered again, but then jumped as she saw a familiar shape and padded over to it. It was Breezepaw, curled up and still sleeping. She shook him with her paw.

Breezepaw eventually lifted his head grogily, his eyes blinking slowly, then focusing on her. "Wazaa....? Frostpaw? Am I on the dawn paaatrol?" he asked, his voice slurred.

"No......" she whispered to her brother. "I think this is just a dream" That made Breezepaw jump up, looking around, alert. "A dream? Where are we?" he yowled, suddenly realizing they weren't on Briarclan's territory.

"I don't know. But it's dark, it's cold, and this place feels just wrong." She whispered. "And keep your voice down, we don't know if there are any other cats here" she said, but almost didn't see anything untill she saw another cat, curled up in the grass. It was Webkit! She woke him up, telling him  about how this was a dream, and one bye one they found the other's, all were sleepng when they found them.

When the last cat was woken up, they gathered in a ragged circle. She saw Ravenkit narrow his eyes, probably wondering exactaly how dark it was.

Well then it would be the same for him, then... she pointed out to herself. Willowpaw flattened her ears.

"I don't like this....." her sister mumered, and Petalkit nodded in agreement. Then thier eyes widened as a black hurling shadow leaped in the middle of the circle.

"Well get used to it" The black shape growled, and the black mist that cleared around it to reveal her half brother, his eyes deadly calm as he gazed at the appretices and kits. He sat down right in the center.

"Good... your all here" he said, his tail wrapping around his paws. And Frostpaw gazed at him curiously, even though the other propahcy cats were weary, some of them had thier lips curled back in a snarl.

"Hawkeyes, do you have anything more on the prophecy?" Frostpaw asked, padding closer to him, and the other cats looked at her, confused that she was talking to him without hostitlty.

He's still my brother. she wanted to say, but didn't do it. Hawkeyes looked down at her, darkness as well as wisdom crowding his gaze. He nodded. "Indeed I have" he said. "I am sure all of you are wondering: What makes you so Special? And the answer is, everyone of you has something the other cats don't. Power. Each different for all ten you you." He said. And he pointed his tail to the starless back sky, and the leafless trees.

"And you will discover them here, and now." Hawkeyes said, and the other cat's eyes grew round.
