The battle

She looked down at the clearing,seeing bodies of snakes everywhere, and warriors licking thier wounds. "Gazestripe.You, Silverfern, Mistsun, and Berrypaw go and see if there are any snakes left." The ginger warrior nodded. Then she noticed Briarpaw, Hawkpaw, and Ravenpaw in the center of the clearing. Swiftstar knew the time was right.

"Will all cats old enoug to catch thier own prey join here beneath the thickbranch for a clan meeting!"

Then the cats gathered below, already having thier energy restored by seeing that it would be good news, no cat died.

"Briarpaw, Hawkpaw, and Ravenpaw. Please come forward."

They stepped out of the crowd, with bewildered expressions on thier faces.

"It is time for you to become warriors."

Then they looked like they would jump out of thier pelts.

"I, Swiftstar, leader of Briarclan call apon our warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trianed hard to undertand the ways of your warrior code, and we commend them warriors in thier turn."

"Hawkpaw, Briarpaw, and Ravenpaw. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this clan, even if it cost your lives?"

[says(I do)]

"Then by the powers of starclan I give you your warrior names."

"Briarpaw, from this moment on you shall be known as Briarberry. Starclan honors your bravery and insight, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan."

"Hawkpaw, from this moment on you shall be known as Hawkeyes. Starclan honors your wisdom and patience, ad we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan."

"Ravenpaw, from this moment on you shall be known as Ravenfeather. Starclan honors your confidence and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan."

"Briarberry! Briarberry! Ravenfeather! Ravenfeather! Hawkeyes! Hawkeyes!
