"And when they're running for the hills, let them spread the word. Briarclan is too be feared!" He said, and again, the clan roared it's approval. Starclan, it seems, had made their choice."

Death Angel and Light Spirit

 Seasons Later

      I looked around at the burned darkened forest. Briarclan territory. Where my family was. Where I grew up. It hasn't been the same for so long now. Not since I got kicked out, for being weak. Because I didn't want to use the power of death I had at the tips of my claws. I looked down at my paws. Bloody. But enough about my paws, I'll fill you in.

      It started the day that Blitz arrived. Not event he knew what he was getting into. But he decided to have some 'fun.' He came to Briarclan, unseen, changing the hearts of the mortal cats. Making them strong and powerful to the point where they were too strong, and too powerful. Slowly, they gained abilities. Slowly, they turned evil. And became opposite.
    You may wonder why Blitz never stopped. He's different from the Blitz that Stark told me about. Now he's always following the leader of shadows, Swiftstar, still influencing him. Some cats ran before it got too bad, before there was no 'running away.'  Havoc somehow stayed. Oh, he stayed alright, and is in Blitz's circle of elite warriors, giving Blitz 'advice.' Briarclan will never be the same.
   Brokenclan had the opposite effect. Spike did almost the same as Blitz, except shed the darkness from the cats' hearts. They became almost too good, too much justice with them, a few of the cats I know moved to their side as well. But very few. I haven't heard from anyone there in a while, I don't even dare. I was a neutral, and neutrals weren't wanted.
   When I was chased out, I took a few others with me, and we went to the rift. Snow and Birch almost killed to us on the way, thought, because Havoc sent them to guard the passage. There we met the remaining, neutral Rift cats, and a few from Brokenclan somehow came along too. We formed an alliance of the Rift.

Swiftly Rising Breezy Flames

    "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the thickbranch for a clan meeting!" Swiftrise said, leaping up onto the Thickbranch. "I am proud to take my nine lives and the name of a leader for this clan, for I have returned from the moon-stream. Though we mourn for the passing of many brave warriors, we must not let the grief towards our former proud leader and his mate drag us down. I am his son as well as his successor,  for Swiftstar has claimed me herself. I will take on her name and see to it, that Briarclan is restored to the former glory of our founder and leader!" He yowled across the clan, his eyes blazing. The clan roared in approval, the cats of Briarclan seemed to support him fully. Swiftstar raised his head proudly. "And we can start first by preparing to finish Brokenclan off, for good. And when they're running for the hills, let them spread the word. Briarclan is too be feared!" He said, and again, the clan roared it's approval. Starclan, it seems,  had made their choice.

>Swiftstar<

  No one seemed to notice that both Muddleblaze and Chaos were missing. And that was thanks to Havoc, who happened to be sitting with the others at this very meeting.
  Chaos and I look very much alike, so no one can tell the difference..... he sneered in his head. He seemed to be back in his old ways again. :I made sure I separated from him for good.... maybe I can sort out my father back to his old self....and it seems something else is going to happen in Briarclan. This will be interesting." he muttered, though no one heard. For it seemed that only he could see the shadowy figure standing beside Swiftstar, working him like a puppet. So the angel of death is having some fun....

>Havoc<

    Many failed and successful battles had taken it's toll on Frozenstar, who passed away recently, peacefully, her position being taken up by Breezeflame, recently becoming Breezestar, who had just called his summons to Brokenclan, who muttered and growled but sat before the leader on his perch.
    "As a new leader of this strong clan, I will promise to make change." He began. "I believe that our methods in the past, with Frozenstar and other past leaders, have been faulty. It seems that for seasons, this clan has been taking a few steps forward, and equal steps back, never progressing, and never moving forward. Well no more! We will change our methods any way it takes to make our clan even stronger, whatever it takes! Even if it is, making peace." And with that, Breezestar felt a little confused. Why did he say that? But for a change, he felt a little lighter....

Sickness

Searingstar coughed again, worried for his clan. He was drowning in grieve in his den, already lossing 3 lives from a fast-spreading sickness. Frostriver had died a few days ago already, and many members of the clan already died from mysterious deaths in the forest a few moons earlier, and they couldn't take anymore.

Not to mention missing members..... he thought, thinking of Chaos, Jaypaw, and others. But Duskgaze had returned, with the recent death of Lilyfrost, she had taken over the medicine cat's job permanently.

It had been at least sunny the whole time. What was Starclan doing? Were they happy about this? There had been no unexpected storms as before, as he assumed was from them. How come we were strong enough to fight off these rouges, but not this sickness?

And the whole time he didn't notice the two shadowy eyes that were watching him.

The Border

  The pure black being of light, named Concord,  sighed, suddenly realizing he took a wrong turn. His body seemed to sparkle and crackle with positive energy, lighting up the darkness that took up half of the realm he came in. What am I doing at the end of light and the beginning of darkness?
   He peered out at the other side, the mayhem, and saw it was dark, fires were raging in forests far beyond, yet it had a tempting feeling. Temptation. Which is taint. For the first time he felt heard a small voice in the back of his head, telling him go on, go on.  It seemed to itch him to the tips of his claws, but he shut tight his eyes, which beamed light, trying to get his head clear from this dizzying affect that seemed to overwhelm him, and when he opened his eyes he saw everything. The night-time hunt, the new colors of after the sun setting. The peaceful feeling that settles at the head of night when nothing speaks. He looked at the colorful rolling hills behind him almost with boredom, which filled with longing again when he turned back to the other side. His paw lifted hesitantly over the border, almost crossing.....

New Cats and Apprentices (finally)

  "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the thickbranch for a clan meeting!" Searingstar said, leaping up onto the sturdy branch.
   "We have new cats joining today! Let's welcome Butterflyclaw, Whisperfire, Ducksplash, Brightlegs, Skypaw, Daisykit, and Silentkit!"

"Butterflyclaw! Whisperfire! Ducksplash! Brightlegs! Skypaw! Daisykit! Silentkit!"

"And there many apprentices that are long overdue for their warrior names! Sunpaw, Stormpaw, Heatherpaw, Lionpaw, Brookpaw, Featherpaw, Lilacpaw, and Swiftpaw! Step forward!" he said.

"I, Searingstar, Leader of BrairClan, call upon our warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and we condemn them as warriors in their turn."

"Sunpaw, Stormpaw, Heatherpaw, Lionpaw, Brookpaw, Featherpaw, Lilacpaw, and Swiftpaw. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this clan, even if it cost your lives?"

They all say "I do." at once.

"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior names."

"Sunpaw, you shall be known as Suncloud!"
"Stormpaw, you shall be known as Stormflower!"
"Heatherpaw, you shall be known as Heathersky!"
"Lionpaw, you shall be known as Lionclaw!"
"Brookpaw, you shall be known as Brookstream!"
"Featherpaw, you shall be known as Featherstem"
"Lilacpaw, you shall be known as Lilacpool!
"Swiftpaw, you shall be known as Swiftrise."

"Suncloud! Stormflower! Heathersky! Lionclaw! Brookstream! Featherstem! Lilacpool! Swiftrise!" The  clan cheered once again. Then thunder crackled, and rain started to fall.

That's strange... .there were no clouds in the sky to signal a storm.

A New Force

    They moved in the shadows, unseen. Outcasts, one who have turned bitter, and had a natural hatred for clans.
"Alcie, are you sure it's this way?" asked a brown tabby she-cat, but she barely seemed to be like one. "Almost, Max. It's around this ridge." they said, walking, or gliding over the forest floor. Remy followed close behind, with the whole hoard of others. "I can't wait to see the looks on their sniveling fat faces when we come." Max growled. "They'll see how powerful we are and then they'll know not to keep all this land for themselves!" she added, and others nodded in agreement, some snarling with satisfaction.
      After a while, they make it over the ridge, but barely heard a sound or saw anything. "Are you sure this is-" Max started to say but Alcie cut her off. "Yes!"
    The Circled around the camp, away from the sentries at the entrance, already well-planned. Max cave the battle cry, and they charged into the camp, surprising the cats of Briarclan.

The Past of Jane

   Firekit took one last, shuddering breath, and then was still. She opened her eyes to see she was standing apart from the cats in the clearing,
   "Guys! I'm over here!" She called, but they didn't look up. "They can't hear you, or see you for that batter." Said a voice from behind her, and she whirled around to see a she-cat sitting behind her. Her fur was dark grey, kind of like Firekit's.
  "W-Who are you? Are you coming to take me away? I'm dead, aren't I?" the young kit asked. The cat blinked.
"I am Koku. The angel of death. The guide of the Rift. But you won't be here long, I will help you find your strength to get to you body again." Koku said.
         "Lets this cat age four seasons
          more mature to handle pain
          to understand the other's reasons.
          and know what she must want, to keep her sane."
 Koku said, and suddenly Firekit was older, about a young warrior's age. "Now that you have a clear head, what is it you wish for them?"
 "To stop Coal. He's going to far and killing cats. I want to help stop him." Fire said. Koku nodded in acceptance.
        "In order to know your enemies you must know their past." Koku said. "You will exist in the past. You will not age, and you must take a new name and identity if your willing to help Stark." she said.
         "Turn Firekit's color into that of flames
          and give her a new name, name her Jane."
Koku said, smiling. Jane smiled. " Will I remember any of this?"
"Yes. You will. But you mustn't tell anyone who doesn't know, because it might mess up to future. Only when the time is right. Befriend Stark and Talon. Him and Coal once were friends, which you will witness. Observe Coal, but keep your thoughts away."
  Jane nodded. "I will do what I must." she said, smiling.
"Firekit is dead. Everyone here will think that. Catching up to the present will make you ready." Koku said.
"One more thing." Jane said. "Why are you helping me?" She asked. Koku smiled back.  "Let's just say, I don't agree with Coal's opinions." She said, winking. Then Firekit was plunged into darkness.

Havoc's Back

   "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the thickbranch for a clan meeting!" Searingstar called. His eyes looked sadly at the weary crowd of cats that came out of their dens.
    "It is time we sit vigil for Soakedspirit and Thistlerose. And Also for Bronzefeather, who we assume is dead." he said.
   "We will hope that somehow Starclan will help us through this, and give us hope to stop the monster who did this." he said in almost a growl. A few cats looked at Chaos, who was staring up at the Thickbranch unblinking from the back of the group.
     "And Jaypaw is missing as well. The search parties will continue." he added.
    "That is all."

>Searingstar<

     As soon as the meeting broke up, Chaos growled. "That is IT! I'm sick of others thinking it was me who killed them! I DIED to save them all! This is the thanks I get. They must be blind, for I can see just clearly. The truths must come out into the open once and for all." he said, and then his eyes started to glow.
       "They know Frostriver was a shape-shifter. He has stolen my face." he looked at Muddleblaze. "I must return to my blood." he said. "And Havoc's returned." and with that, he somehow vanished.
~~~
He reappeared where he saw Coal and the others. "Father of mine." he said.
   "Havoc. It is good to see you again. I knew that that weak warrior Muddleblaze killing you wouldn't be enough. It's still happens, doesn't it? You can still go back in the past and change things." Coal said, realizing it himself.
    "Crow!" he snapped. Jaypaw's head snapped up. "Yes father." was her automatic response. "Go take care of  that mate of your brothers'." He said.
     "Alright." Crow said, and disappeared. "It was very hard to contain myself in this body, Coal." Havoc said. "Chaos was almost too strong for me. I'm glad that Jaypaw has had a chance to embrace her other side. Let's keep it that way."
    "Bronzefeather! Go bring back the my other son. They one that's a failure." he said. Bronzefeather laughed. "Alright, homie."
    "Excellent. Meanwhile I'm going to go take care of  Wolf." he said to himself, and morphed into Cinderpaw, appearing near where Shadeshadow was.
Another Killing Spree. By Coal, of course.
   "That's it Cinderpaw. Your not going back to the living world." Coal growled to Cinderpaw, pacing in front of him.
    "But-" Cinderpaw protested, put Coal cut him off. "No!" Just then Bronzefeather walked in, grinning. "Ya know, you should listen to your father. Or he might ground you." he said,  then burst out laughing. Coal just rolled his eyes.
     "You see what happens when your weak and mortal? If you follow in my footsteps you could be immortal and powerful beside me. And we will control the infinity and not Stark."
     "But you know that only a cat without a soul can-" "That's ENOUGH! Who told you such lies?!?!?" Coal growled, and Cinderpaw flattened his ears, making sure to keep all thoughts of the other rift cats he met out of his mind.
    Cinderpaw sighed. He wished he didn't have to do this. Even Rose had already known what he was doing, and thought he was evil. I wanna be with them. Not stuck here he growled in his head, not caring if his father heard.
       "Well, you corrupting Briarberry sure didn't do anything." Bronzefeather jeered. "It just made everything worse. Just because YOU wanted all the cat's with power's, well, powers, when they died! And then it just DIDN'T HAPPEN. Time just slapped you in the face." he explained.
    Coal looked at Bronzefeather in astonishment. "That is probably the most words you've ever said in one time, Bronzefeather." he said, and then both him and Cinderpaw started laughing.
    "Some day, Some day Bronzefeather. Not today." Coal said. "Ummm what?" Bronzefeather asked, and Coal just glared at him. "I'm fine, thank you very much." he said, and disappeared.
>Cinderpaw<
    Coal looked at another hunting patrol and smiled. They looked weary, probably cautious of what happened last time. He changed his form to look like Chaos, and when then the hunting party split up, he went after Soakedspirit and Thistlerose, lightly touching them with his tail and snickered as their bodies fell to the ground. "the sun will come out.. tomorrow..." he started singing, but then stopped as he heard the others coming. But it was just Jaypaw.
    She narrowed her eyes. "Chaos? What happened to ....?" She didn't get to finish that sentence because Coal snatched her away, and they both disappeared a heartbeat before the patrol discovered the two dead bodies.
>Coal<
   "Stay here." he said, dropping Jaypaw off at the rift and then appearing in the Brokenclan camp, and he changed into one of the warriors, walking casually over to the nursery, spotting what he wanted.
   "Psst. hey, kits." he said to the kits that were curled next to each other, sleeping. As soon as they blinked open their eyes they disappeared, and so did Coal.
 ~~~

He paced around the rift as the three new cats there looked at them in bewilderment.

"You three are just what I needed. Some kin."

Death.

       Searingstar opened his eyes and woke up from what seemed like forever. He had just lost another life, and his mother, Frozenstar had disappeared into the mass of cats. He saw many bodies, mostly from the enemy clan. They were winning! Then he saw a familiar slouched body. Frostymoon. His eyes glinted with sadness and he searched the cats for her mate, Copperflare, who was already rushing toward her. But he stumbled as a paw caught him around the neck, and sliced his throat. He fell to the ground, dead. This only happened in a few heartbeats, and Searingstar couldn't get there on time. He knew they should give up, but it was almost over anyway. They couldn't die for nothing. Searingstar looked at Breezeflame, who didn't have blood on his paws for once. Did he not fight? He looked almost afraid.
    "RETREAT." he called, but Searingstar stepped over. "There's no need for that. We got what we wanted." And the thing that Searingstar was talking about was only known by him and his deputy, but no other. "Let this be a lesson not to ever cross our borders or interfere again." he made eye contact very quickly, and they melted into the shadows, the bodies, and Muddleblaze, supported by Chaos and Jaypaw, with them. With the Brokenclan cats staring wearily at them with confusion.

>Searingstar<

  Duskgaze stopped and looked around, wondering where her clan had gone. "Stay here." she heard a whisper in her ear, and turned around to see Willowsun grinning at her. "Now, you'll do exactly as I say..." she whispered, and Duskgaze took in one ragged, blood-clotted breath of fear.

>Duskgaze<

  Searingstar had just announced the deaths and their victory to the others, and there were now cats sitting vigil. But despite it Searingstar felt accomplished. They had gotten the cat that they wanted. It was just an apprentice, no more. His name was Cinderpaw.
    "You think you could run away again?" he snarled, while in his den with the apprentice cowering inside with him.
    "The others would see you. Running to Brokenclan, what were you thinking." He growled, his temper cooling down only by a few degrees.
      "Starclan told me to keep you safe. Don't make it even harder!" he spat, no one else hearing.

>Searingstar<

    Shadeshadow gazed around the forest in wonder, her eyes looking blind because she was seeing another scene in time. She came to a small creek in the forest, fixed on the moonlight dancing in the water. Then there was a crushing weight that pressed down on her skull.
      "But it's not my time yet! I haven't seen it!" She said, wincing and collapsing on the ground.
"Do what you want to me, but please protect Cinderpaw." she gasped.

Striking Back

   "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the thickbranch for a clan meeting!" Searingstar yowled from the thickbranch, his eyes wild.
    "We've waited long enough! It's time to attack Brokenclan and teach them a lesson for ALL lives we've lost to them!" he said. "And we will show them to NEVER attack us again. We'll drive them out of the forest!" He snarled, and the rest of the clan let out growls and hisses of satisfaction. Searingstar dug his claws into the bark.
      "We will attack at nightfall! We are always prepared and strong!" he yowled again. "here's who i want to come."

    The time had already come in what seemed like a few heartbeats. The chosen cats exchanged glances at each other, nodded, and then streaked out of camp behind Searingstar. Without making noise, they crosed the border, where no patrols were guarding at the time. They'd figured they had reached the camp, and sprung lightly.

"Ooo. A Historical event is taking place, and good battle." Stark said suddenly after gazing in the pool. "I think we should make ourselves be seen." he said to the two others.

Gathering!

Gathering tonight! Anyone come who wants to. go here: http://gathering-of-clans.blogspot.com instead, though. A different gathering.

>Searingstar<

A new beginning? Or a new end?

         "Very interesting. Very interesting indeed." a dark gray cat said, pacing around a pool of swirling blue waters. This wasn't the moonpool, for it had nothing to do with starclan. It wasn't for them. But, like some unfortunate cats, it is trapped between the spirit and living world. The cat was one of them who did, and not purposefully, though he was bitter of his past. Always, he hoped something would come along that would, maybe, make up for it. If you looked at him, for a clan cat, he'd look like he'd just moved out of the apprentices den. His eyes said something different. Semi transparent, never touching the world because there's only a thin wall between him and it. The cat was tired. The seasons upon seasons gave it away so the expression was almost permanent on his face. But this time, his amber eyes lit up and he smiled. Just this once.
        "Something is coming. No, not something, not someone. An Idea!" he said, as he paced. "How brilliant! Fantastic, wonderful, other synonyms!" he shouted, no one would hear him. He knew many things that leaked from the pool, and he understood so many things at once. He knew all about so many different animals, and he knew what a 'synonym' was. The only thing that seemed to keep him going was that there was a new thing to think about every day. He could leave the water's edge, but if he got to far, he'd suddenly end up back next to it. He didn't really want to leave in the first place. He just wanted to know.
      "Nothings coming. I am bringing it." he came to a conclusion. "It will be horrible. Terribly. Sad. Wonderful. Brilliant. Exciting." he sighed in almost bliss, knowing there was something not-right about his head.
  He looked into the pool, his eyes narrowing as he tried to read the infinity that seemed to swirl around it. He couldn't unlock it's mysteries, but maybe someone else could. And maybe someone else can share the burden of his knowledge. Intensified, in fact. He needed some sort of friends. He looked down again and sighed. There was no reflection.

Three new warriors

   "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the thickbranch for a clan meeting!" Searingstar called, his eyes shining with pride. Chaos walked out of the apprentices den with Muddlepaw leaning on his shoulder.
       Shroudpaw already stood there with Floe and Ravensoar behind him, smiling. "It is time for three apprentices to become warriors." Searingstar announced.
    "Chaos, Muddlepaw, and Shroudpaw step forward." he said, and the three cats walked in front of the crowd.
"I, Searingstar, Leader of Briarclan call upon our warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of you noble code, and we condemn  them as warriors in their turn."

"Chaos, Muddlepaw, and Shroudpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this clan, even if it cost your lives?"

"I do." all of them said in unison.

"Then by the powers of starclan I give you your warrior names."

"Chaos, You have choosen to keep your name. Starclan honors your Bravery and Loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan!"

"Muddlepaw, you shall be known as Muddleblaze. Starclan honors your passion and spirit, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan!"

"Shroudpaw, you shall be known as Shroudsky. Starclan honors your courage and strength, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan!" Searingstar said, and the cats began to cheer.

"Chaos! Muddleblaze! Shroudsky! Chaos! Muddleblaze! Shroudsky!"

>Searingstar<

Briarberry sat at a pool, hunched over it.

"They should have just ended my spirit in the end. The pain will always last."

"That is your own doing, sister." Hawkeyes hissed at her, and stalked away.

"I won't try my Revenge again, but someone will. Someone... new, perhaps." she said, gazing thoughtfully down at the pool.

"Maybe another clan should get involved this time." she said, flickering so all you saw was her smile.

The Future Comes back to Haunt them.

Havoc grinned, and his head craned upward abruptly.

      "I have gotten the orders. It is time to attack, and attack to kill. Briarberry says to head over immediately. So that's what we do. Kill anything that gets in our way." He rasped. "And we will have Her revenge once and for all." he laughed, and then, knowing Shroudsky could easily read his mind, he thought, And do not Kill Chaos Or Shroudpaw, or it will create an endless paradox, and we will not exist.
    One of Havoc's claws twitched, and the half of trees around him burst into flame. Storm smiled and the other half stood encased in ice.
   "This will be too easy. I say we do this slow and painfully." Storm suggested, and Havoc nodded. The trees suddenly returned back to normal, and suddenly there were many Havocs and Storms. "Next is Brokenclan. Let's go." the original Havoc said as then raced through the forest.

"And Havoc will truly rise."

>Havoc/Storm<

        Chaos's eyes widened as he took it all in. And then he ran. "Muddlepaw! Muddlepaw!" he yowled, and then bumped into her, stumbling. "Muddlepaw, Havoc and Storm are going to attack Briarclan and kill them all! We have to warn the others." he said in a rush. Muddlepaw nodded, and they bolted back to camp, skidding to a halt in the middle.
      Frostriver was there, her eyes troubled. "What's wrong?" she asked. "Get Searingstar! We're about to be attacked!" She nodded, and rushed into his den while the whole clan came out, bristling with fear, but ready for battle. As soon as Searingstar ran out of his den, the clearing was alive with battle.

>Chaos<

    Swiftstar narrowed her eyes. "Now tell me, who is the spy!" She hissed some of the other Starclan cats. The all looked confused and bewildered.
    Feathergaze narrowed her eyes. "How can there be a spy, Swiftstar? We would know." she said. "Briarclan is being attacked! They will all die unless we know who the spy is." she hissed. "Now someone find out. Who has betrayed starclan?" she asked. What she did not know was that one member of starclan was missing, too busy with other business. Briarberry sat in a clearing, her two weapons bending to her will.

>Swiftstar/Briarberry<

Another Weapon.

    Briarberry smiled. She was in a small clearing in the forest, circling a shadow in the middle.
"Ahh, yes. Another fine creation, taken from the future." she said. "Better then the last one, but both of them will do, together you and Chaos will destroy Briarclan." she added. "My, you future cats sure are useful." she laughed. The shadow stood motionless, not even twitching in reply.
     "It's so fun, you know. Especially when the cat I pick creates so much drama..... it's so entertaining." she sneered. "You are too do as your told when I say it. When I give you the signal, you will attack the clan with all you've got, and leave no one alive." she ordered. "I will make Havoc do it willingly, which shouldn't be much trouble." she grinned at herself again. "But you both will clear out the job, and then I'll be done with you." she added, and the shape gave a slight nod.
     "But first, you will meet them, they won't recognize you, yet." she sneered. The shadow in the middle of the clearing looked an awful lot like Shroudpaw....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
       Briarberry vanished back into Starclan, and Swiftstar appeared. "Briarberry... you've left the sprit world very often recently.... anything troubling you about them?" she asked, and Briarberry gave her a look as if she just asked eat a fox.
      "Erm, Havoc, mother?" she said matter-o-factly. Swiftstar gave her a sharp look. "That matter is between only a few members of starclan. Right now he is not considered a threat." then she leaned forward to whisper in her daughter's ear. "I'm highly suspecting a that there's a spy among our ranks, so keep your eyes open." Then whisked away.
    "Don't worry, I will, mother."
>Briarberry<
Havoc and Chaos both looked to see a cat being chased by a fox into the place of the forest they were at. He was covered in a lot of blood, but whirled around to face the fox, right after turning around to them and saying, "oh, hi."
Thursday, November 18, 2010
Huh?
   Leaf-bare was fast approaching, and prey was already scarce. Chaos was in a dream. He stepped out of camp, knowing no one could see him, and he walked through the grass, it turning dead beneath his paws.  His ribs showed beneath his pelt and he wheezed.
     He felt sad, for what he must do, and he dug his claws into the earth. I won't have to do the things, if I just..... he thought, and held up a claw to his throat. Too bad i can't just kill myself.
       "Havoc, stop." Chaos heard a voice, and turned around to see Swiftstar standing behind him. "I know it wasn't your fault for all these kits you've killed, I know there is an even powerful source behind this, but you must tell me who." she said, her eyes pleading. Chaos stopped.
    "How did I get in the past in the first place? Was it her?" Chaos asked. "I don't know, Havoc, something called you here, something powerful, but i don't think it was the cat you were speaking of. It was your prophecy." she said.
      "It's a load of fox-dung." he spat. "I miss Muddleblaze." he said more softly. Swiftstar gazed at him thoughtfully for a long time. "I can still see the stars in your fur, if I look past the darkness shrouding your soul." she said. "You were created  by Starclan but for evil purposes. What does that make you?" she asked, but Chaos knew that she was asking herself and not him.
    "I want to stop hurting the ones I love." Chaos growled. "I hate having no mind of my own anymore." he said bitterly. "I know, Havoc, but-" "Don't call me that!" Chaos snapped, interrupting her. "That's only my name for here, but you shouldn't call me that, it brings evil." he said with a low voice, like someone was listening in.
     "It's going to overtake me soon, and lead me straight into the heart of Briarclan." he almost whimpered.
"It's coming soon, what can I do to stop it?" he asked.
    "Tell me who." Swiftstar said. Then Havoc pinned her down. He made a sound that was both a laugh and a cry.  "Never mind, just call me Havoc."
New apprentices and more Havoc.
        "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the thickbranch for a clan meeting!" Searingstar said.
         "We have 7 kits who have reached their sixth moon, and are now ready to become apprentices." he added, smiling. "Swiftkit, Shortkit, Gazekit, Chaos, Jaykit, Shroudkit, and Muddlekit step forward.
"From this moment on, until you receive your warrior names, you shall be known as Swiftpaw, Shortpaw, Gazepaw, Chaos, Jaypaw, Shroudpaw, and Muddlepaw!" he said.
"Swiftpaw! Shortpaw! Gazepaw! Chaos! Jaypaw! Shroudpaw! Muddlepaw!" the clan chanted, and Searingstar leaped down from the branch when the brief ceremony was over.
Jaypaw smiled at her brother. But after a while, she backed away when no one was looking and went out into the forest.
"You've been abusing your gift, Jay!" Havoc growled, having to walk instead of just phasing there. "You know it's only temporary. I only brought you back because you where SCARED." he spat, clawing her face. Jaypaw recoiled. "S-sorry." she murmured.
"SORRY? You were to NOT give them courage, you were supposed to remind them of my powers. I live on the fear, and I can't have them thinking that I'm weak." he growled. Then he leaned in close. "Understand?" he spat.
Jaypaw flinched, and nodded shakily.
New cats joining (sorry for the wait)
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the thickbranch for a clan meeting!" Searingstar leaped up, his eyes shining.
"We have many new cats joining! Floe and Ravensoar have adopted Chaos, and he is welcome to stay!
Also we have joining Shorttail, Stormshadow, Surgingfleet, Twistedfoot, Creekfall, and Longwhisker joining as warriors today."
"Shorttail! Stormshadow! Surgingfleet! Twistedfoot! Creekfall! Longwhisker!" the cats cheered.
"We also have a few apprentices joining. Heatherpaw, Lionpaw, and Brookpaw!"
"Heatherpaw! Lionpaw! Brookpaw!" the cats began cheering again.
"And Featherkit and Lilackit! Poppyleaf is also joining, and is expecting kits!"
"Poppyleaf! Poppyleaf! Poppyleaf!"
Searingstar took a deep breath.
"And four apprentices are ready to become warriors today. Bronzepaw, Murkpaw, Charcoalpaw, and Heatpaw step forward."
"I, Searingstar, leader of Briarclan, call upon our warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and we condemn them as warriors in their turn."
"Bronzepaw, Murkpaw, Charcoalpaw, and Heatpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this clan , ever if it costs your life?"
[says(I do)]
"Then by the powers of starclan I give you your warrior names.
"Bronzepaw, you will be known as Bronzefeather."
"Murkpaw, you shall be known as Murkfall."
"Charcoalpaw, you shall be known as Charcoalwing"
"Heatpaw, you shall be known as Heatsoul."
"Bronzefeather! Murkfall! Charcoalwing! Heatsoul!" the cats cheered.
"That is all" he announced
Floe
   Floe looked up at the sky, turning dark from the clouds and buried the prey that she had caught. Suddenly, she heard a mew from behind and spun around, hackles raised to see a tiny kit sitting there and looking at her. She automatically relaxed.
   "Who are you, little kit?" she asked the pitch black kit with round eyes. He shook his head. "I-I don't know." he whimpered.
    "Where's your mother?" she asked. "I don't know that, either!" he said, looking almost at sobbs. His fur was matted and was covered and scars, but didn't carry any scent on him, except for.. Floe couldn't put a name on the scent.
   "Well, little kit, I can take you to Briarclan if you want, it's this great big group of cats who will make you feel better. Until your mother comes." she said softly. The cat slowly nodded. "O-Okay."
   She reached over and picked him up by the scuff and started carrying him towards the direction of the Briarclan camp. Suddenly she heard cracking, and an immense pain shot quickly through her,  and she felt like ever bone was broken, and blood was flowing freely. She was too out of focus to think of how this happened, but the last thing she heard was the little kit calling to her, and everything went black.
