Shocked gasped rippled throughout the clan.

"Briarberry?" some cat called out.
"Why is she up there?" she heard Featherleaf say.

"Listen, cats of Briarclan! Swiftstar has told me to replace her at the gathering tonite! She is not well enough from the birth of her kits to attend!" she yowled.

"It is an honor, and I hope you all accept her decision. Here are the cats who are goibng to the gathering!" she said.

Those are the cats! Also, when we get back, we shall sit vigil for the loss of our clanmate, Liontooth. He was killed by my Brother, Hawkeyes."

More shocked mews sprang up, and Teriified yowls.

"Listen! We have drove him out for now. Actually, he seemed to go willingly. He has been spying for Brokenclan on us, but no longer!" she yowled in Truimph, eyes glowing.

The clan yowled in aggremenet, feeling more confident than ever.

Lotsa Stuff + kits are coming!

Swiftstar stumbled up onto the thickbranch, already feeling tired.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the thickbranch for a clan meeting!" she yowled, and the cats began to gather.

"Leopardheart is our new head warrior and Lilypaw is our new medicine cat apprentice!" she said. The cats below cheered. She turned to Brownspots. "Brownspots, you would take her to the moonpool(or moon-something) on the next half-moon!" she said.

"Also, it is time for Hollypaw, Rainpaw, Flowerpaw, Blazepaw, and Shadowpaw to become warriors."
"Step forward" she commended.

"I, Swiftstar, leader of Briarclan call apon on our warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have worked hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and we condemn them as warriors in your turn." Swiftstar said the words, loud and clearly. Pride shown in her gaze.

"Hollypaw, Rainpaw, Flowerpaw, Blazepaw, Shadowpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this clan, even if it cost your lives?" she asked.

They all say I do confidently.

"Then by the powers of starclan I give you your warrior names.

"Hollypaw, you shall now be known as Hollyberry. Starclan honors your wisdom and endurance, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Brairclan."

"Rainpaw, you shall know be know as Rainstream. Starclan honors your battle skills and sharp claws, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan."

"Flowerpaw, you shall be known as Flowerheart. Starclan honors your patience and caring, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan."

"Blazepaw, you shall be known as Blazefire. Starclan honors your loyalty and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan."

"Shadowpaw, you shall be known as Shadowsong. Starclan honors your wisdom and Justice, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Briarclan.

"Lilypaw! Leopardheart! Hollyberry! Rainstream! Flowerheart! Blazefire! Shadowsong!" the cats cheered.

Hawkeyes shot Leopardheart a look of pure hatred. Though she didn't notice it. "If only Swiftstar choose me as head warrior. But no, she thinks I'm to pathetic!" he spat to himself. "Swiftstar's having her kits soon. A perfect time for brokenclan to attack....." he said, and then sprinted off towards the bushes, on his way towards Brokenclan........

Swiftstar got down, seeing all the new warriors being congradulated by all the cats. Suddenly, a spasm of pain shot forward, making her knees buckle. Briarberry noticed this, and rushed to her side. She turned to Ravenfeather. "Quickly, go get Lilypaw and Brownspots, Swiftstar's kits are coming!" she yelled.

Swiftstar leaped onto the branch, a little cumsy from the extra weight.

"Faithkit from Pineclan is staying here for now, for those cats who were wondering why she was here. She wasn't lost, so we don't know when she is going home. So don't ask." Swiftstar said, glaring at a few of the apprentices.

"For, now, she is going to be here with us," she announced, and ending, the meeting, padding back over to Faithkit. Behind her she heard mutters and growls, and Swiftstar rolled her eyes.

Hawkeyes looked up suspiciously at his mother. He knew he was spying on Briarclan and reporting it to brokenclan, and nobody knew. He narrowed his eyes threatingly at Swiftstar, noticing something was wrong.

She recieved a prophecy!, but what is it? He would overhear, her and brownspot's conversation later on....,.

Then he found out his weakness point, and went in.

"Sence when were you expecting kits, Swiftstar?" He called.

And when he saw Swiftstar's expression, he was suprised the leader was shocked herself.

"Ummm." she moewed looking akward. "I will discuss what I heard from starclan with Brownspots now...." and leaped off the rock, and her and brownspots padded off, deep in conversation.

"Who do you think the father is?"

"You don't supposed it's........" some of the cat's muttered.

"Or maybe Hawkeyes was lying." he heard one cat say, and turned around to see Briarberry glaring at him, eyes narrowing in suspicion. 

So she suspects....... he thought.

"why would he do that?" ravenfeather said. "He doesn't have anything to gain by making up a lie about our mother!" he added, and then noticed Hawkeyes glaring at him and looked away quickly.

Angry. Hawkeyes stalked forward, prepared to hear what horrible fate Starclan had for Briarclan next......
